i went to the dentist today and had a root canel done - but i didnt have any numbing stuff, it didn't hurt that much and my reconstuctive surgeon is great - it hurt's a bit now (well the gum does) who doesn't mind the dentists? i dont i used to hate then sooooooo much - but when you find the right one its all good!!!!!!!
its impossible that you didnt have any numbing stuff....you would have been screaming bloody murder...you had to have some novocaine...dentist wouldnt even attempt to do a root canal without numbing it...
Cool beans! I also have an awesome Dentist, a king among dentists. Had my wisdom teeth out and only had local done.
Nope i didn't have anything - i think i would have known if she was injecting my mouth perhap's, she did put a little bit in the root canal bit though - spuirted a bit there.
I avoid dentists like the plague...I went last yr. when I hadn't been there for awhile, and had a MASSIVE cleaning (they called it deep scaling...ouch!), and they had to use novocaine just for that. Wiggy, you're a stronger person than I...can't stand mouth pain at all... I take good care of my teeth on my own, but when it comes to the dentist, I run like hell. Up to that point, I hadn't been there in about 6 yrs.

By the way i saw that concert live in 1973 with Alice , dental doctor, giant root canal machine, walking around tooth and tooth paste tube and other characters this one of the best ever concert to take acid on. no one did a concert like Alice cooper did. actually a freak show!.
