Michael Moore shows the temperature where freedom burns!

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0361596/combined

Perhaps the most damaging footage shows Bush on September 11, sitting in a Florida classroom for a full seven minutes after he had been told that the second tower had been struck, and that it was clear the horrific events in New York were a terrorist attack, not a tragic accident. Moore lets this moment go on and on: The president, stone-faced in front of dozens of schoolchildren, doing absolutely nothing, as our nation comes under attack.

Hopefully, this scene will take away the "war president" lie.
The never-elected punk isn't qualified to referee a cock-fight, much less lead the world in a war against Al Qaeda.

Many people say the movie is one sided and edited to show moore view point. But that one scene speaks volumes.

I liked it. It's the best documentary I've seen from Moore so far.

The evidence showing that Bush had arranged the 9/11 attack was overwhelming. Moore presents so many facts that I learned a few new ones.
It was a mind scramble of information. I think Moore is right on the money. The poor here were swindled into attacking the poor in Iraq WHO HAD NOTHING TO WITH THE 9/11 ATTACK. Moore backs up what he says.

One of the things that amazed me is that the Saudis own about 6% of America. Those fuckers are so rich, they can do no wrong here!!!

When Republicans are heavily invested in weapons manufacturing and have the power to decide if America goes to war, PEOPLE WILL DIE.

it doesnt only make the bush administration look bad, it makes congress look just as bad, that includes not only the republicans but the democrats as well. The congress pass bills without even reading them! haha! funny thought.

i don't necessarily think that that particular scene is a kick in bush's pants. after all, he's sitting in a classroom of little kids, receiving horrific news. i don't blow my top in front of little kids, either, it's too scary to them, especially coming from a position of a person in high authority.

Everyone reacts differently to extreme situations. Who knows what Bush was thinking at that moment.....

    Maybe he was thinking:

    1) "What do I do? Do I sit here and look Presidential or run screaming from this room?"

    2) "Where is Dick when I need him?"

    3) "Will someone come get me please and take me out of this room -- I have no mind of my own."

    4) "What would dad have done in this situation?"

Maybe someday Bush will tell us what he was REALLY thinking during that 7 minutes, when people were being burned alive in the second tower, when bodies were plummeting to the pavement, when my daughter stood in front of the t.v. and watched the plane smash into the building. I know what I was thinking. Our world has changed forever......and Bush kept reading that "Goat" book to the kiddies.....how "Presidential."

Here is another explanation as to WHY Bush sat on his ass reading the Goat book:

    Taken from www.whatreallyhappened.com:

We've all seen the video. It figures prominently in Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11". It is the video of George Bush at Booker Elementary School being informed by Andy Card of the second impact of a passenger jetliner into the World Trade Center, then sitting there for several minutes reading about goats. What damns the Bush administration is not what is in this video, but what SHOULD be in the video and is not. Ostensibly, Bush and Card are reacting to a surprise attack, but Bush does not act surprised, and Andrew Card does not act like a man delivering an unexpected piece of news but instead is merely delivering a progress report to which he already knows Bush will not have an immediate response.

There is one more thing that should be in this video and isn't, and that is the Secret Service, the protective detail whose one and only job is the President's safety.

The fictional Sherlock Holmes solved the crime in "Silver Blaze" deducing that it is the owner of the house who is the criminal. How does he know? Because the dog did not bark. The only criminal who could could carry out the crime and not arouse the dog was a criminal the dog already knew as a friend, the dog's owner.

Now let us turn our Sherlockian logic on 9-11. Hijacked aircraft were wandering across the eastern half of the country. In theory nobody could have known how many there are or if more planes were not in the process of being hijacked. How could they? Two of the planes had crashed into the World Trade Center. There is an airport only four miles from Booker Elementary School, and Bush's presence at the school was known to the public 24 hours in advance. Nobody would have assumed he was not a target.

And yet the President's Secret Service Detail did not rush in and remove the President to a secure location, or at least to the safety of the armored Presidential Limousine. That's their job. That's what they do in the case of a real surprise attack with so many unknowns. They don't do anything else.

But the President's Secret Service Detail did nothing. The dog did not bark.

Bush defenders try to explain away Bush's inaction as not wanting to upset the children. Michael Moore explains away Bush's inaction by suggesting he hadn't been told to leave. But Michael Moore failed to follow that line of reasoning through to its logical conclusion; where were the people whose job it is to get the President to a place of safety in event of attack, the people who would have, SHOULD have, pulled Bush out of there, children and public appearances be damned! And in point of fact, the Vice-president's Secret Service Detail was busy hustling Dick Cheney off to his secret bunker at the exact same time we see the President's Secret Service Detail, well, the point is we DON'T see them do much of anything at all!

The President's Secret Service Detail did nothing. The dog did not bark.

If the events of 9-11 were really a surprise to the United States Government, then there is no way that the President's Secret Service Detail could know there wasn't a hijacked or stolen plane headed towards Booker Elementary School that very second.

The President's Secret Service Detail did nothing. The dog did not bark.

The President's Secret Service Detail should be in that video but they are not. From their inaction, it is clear that the President's Secret Service Detail KNEW FOR A FACT THAT THE PRESIDENT WAS NOT A TARGET OF ONE OF THE HIJACKED PLANES. And the only way anyone could know that for a fact at that moment is to have known what the targets of the hijacked planes were, at that exact moment, standing there in the school.

The President's Secret Service Detail did nothing. The dog did not bark.

yeah, and the moment he was put in the air, everyone started screaming "where's the president? why isn't he here for us?" the attack was unprecedented, the reactions unknowable. while the skeptic in me wouldn't be surprised if some monkey business was going on, that same skeptic in me refuses to just automatically jump to the conclusion that because of the disorganization of a response he's automatically guilty, either. all i know is when i saw his face tighten up after he was informed of the tower attack, he looked fucking furious to me, and i know how to dodge furious men.

Which is why what has been called for by those of us who have long argued the glaring inconsistencies in the "official" story is a thorough, public, judicial INVESTIGATION with a remit unlimited as to the scope of questions it may focus on (as we have seen with the limited official, Congressionally sanctioned enquiries).

As long as testimonies are permitted to be held not under oath and behind closed doors, much remains shrouded in suspicion). Hardly the sort of "accountability" in keeping with our founding principles.
