Eleanor Rigby or Elenore?

    What song do you like better: The Beatles "Eleanor Rigby" or The Turtles "Elenore"? When I first heard "Elenore" on the radio over a decade ago, I thought it was The Beatles "Eleanor Rigby". You know when The Turtles sing "Elenore gee I think your swell..." or "Eleanor really...", I thought instead of "gee I think..." or "really" they were saying "Rigby". Anyways later I heard The Beatles "Eleanor Rigby". I think "Elenore" is a better song than "Eleanor Rigby".

    i don't think so. eleanor rigby is better. listen to it carefully again.

    eleanor rigby is one of pauls best songs in the beatles...it has more of a meaning then a lot of his other songs. im definitely goin with rigby
