i saw some at petsmart last week...i was looking at them for a while. i cant remeber their price though. i dont think they were that expensive. get two if you can....they are social creatures and will happiest with a buddy.

you can always call around and get prices but i was petsmart today and when i stopped to check out the birds i saw that the yellow canaries were $100. however, there may be some sort of canary/bird rescue organization that adopts them out for a smaller fee.....check on the net.
