The founding of the Pope is none scriptural. When Christ told Simon Bar-jona that he was blessed, he called him Petra (Rock)..because the Father had revealed to him, that he (Jesus himself) was the Christ. This revelation Simon received, made him a rock (Petra=Peter) and it was upon this revelational Rock of Christ revealed, that he would build his church, and the gates of hell would not prevail against it.

Perhaps we can learn from the spirit in them that done the harm, not to be likewise?
