it will effect the taste of the pot when you smoke it.....make sure to flush reallly really well.....maricle grow is also "fast food" for plants, it will get the job done but at the end of the day is it really "doin well".......srry for the insult but "american pot" : ) haha

I've smoked some Miracle Weed and it tastes like you're smoking chlorine.

    It'll work, But-

    what everyone else said.

And you just need a little, not a shitload.

Better to buy $3 worth of Peter's Plant food (20-20-20) at wal-mart.

Miracle grow is fine to use with pot. I think it's 1/4 tsp per gallon for indoor plants, works great. It's just not organic, hence why alot of growers don't like it. But if it's what ya got on hand then use it. As for it affecting the taste, it on't affect the taste any more than organic fert will. If you don't flush in the last couple weeks and don't harvest andfinnish right, then ya the weed won't taste good, but that would happen even if you were using 100% organic fert. And Alpha, I think it might have had something to do with the strain and the particular plant rather than the fert.

    Dash is correct.

MG is a fine generic fert. Most new growers either over water or over fertilize. Follow what Dash advised.

    I think Scott's owns MG and Peter's now :)

First of all - organic nutrients are better for so many reasons; but they are more complicated to understand and more costly. Chemical nutes on the other hand are cheap and easy to understand, just disolve in water and pour - perfect for the beginner!
The best chemical fertilizer I know of is "Jack's Classic" by J.R. Peters; it comes in two formulas: All Purpose 20-20-20 for veg cycle and Blossem Booster 10-30-20 for the flowering cycle. Both formulas are complete nutrients that contain all the secondary and nicronutrients.
All chemical nutes have to be flushed periodically and there is the "chemical taste" left over in the buds - but it is worth it for an easy place to start for a beginner. Jack's Classic is hard to find at big chain stores like Wally-World, but independant nurseries carry it.
That "feeling scared high" you mentioned wasn't caused by MiracleGro. It was probably just harvested a little too early. The cannabinoid ratio changes in the buds as they ripen - that is what causes the different "types" of highs.

    BTW SirTA,

Peter's - (Jack's Classic) ~ $1 - some dollar stores in the metro Detroit area were discounting them as winter is approaching. So keep an eye out if you want to try it.
