Has anyone heard Franz Ferdinand's new album, and if so, what do you think of it? It's amazing--a modern band with something vaguely resembling a career.
there's many many modern bands that are amazing. get your head out of the 60s, hippie. i personally cannot stand the album -- much like their first!
the first album was fab, but im starting to think it was a fluke, i've not heard the second album yet, but if the single "your so lucky" is anything to go by, its going to be grade A pants
I like that they actually have a second album. It annoys me when a band's "debut" comes out, and critics say the band will be a hit, but the album is never followed up by anything.
I actually like Franz ferdinand. A couple of weeks ago, i fell asleep with the radio on, and the song "lucky" was on but at the same time i was dreaming that i was on a bus and everyone on the bus was taking turns to sing the song out loud. I woke up singing to "lucky, lucky, you're so lucky"..it was funny
i love franz ferdinand..and their new album. pop music with some actual intelligence in it, if you give it a chance. my favorite tracks off the second one'd have to be "the fallen" and "you could have it so much better"..well for right now anyways..and their acoustic songs are really good too
Yeah, I don't really understand why someone would HATE them. They are not really hate-able...in my humble opinion, anyways.
