That isn't a very well thought out question. My recliner isn't perfect (it's an ugly color, has some burn holes in it, and creaks) but I have faith it will hold me when I sit in it.

My husband isn't perfect (far from - in fact last night he smashed up my NEW car by hitting a stationary object!) but I have faith that he loves me and that we will be together forever.

Fuzzy, first, wasnt asking you that question.

Secondly, i dont need the belief in my gods to
live my life. I would do just fine without
giving them worship. I dont HAVE to
    worship anything.

But when i think on my ancestors,
and my gods, i feel them, and i
feel proud of where I came frome.
I feel their spirit in my life, and know
that I am making them proud.
But i know that i am making those
in my daily life proud too, so either
way i am doing it right.

I look to my gods for the lessons
they offer, and the inspiration that
comes with them, But i also learn
for the lessons of life, and from the
inspiration of those that I love so much.

For every spiritual, there is a physical.
I am my ancestors, my children are my
decendants, but they are their childrens
ancestors, my wife, and my love are
my Goddess. My best friends are like
the gods of old, we are the physical
    embodyment of what we worship.

I think of how strong my gods are,
or the honor they have, or the
    wisdom they shared.

I have never ever ever seen
    my great great grandfather,
but he did exist. As did all
    of my ancestors.

Their spirits go on after death,
and they are in the otherworld.

    Since my gods are ancestors,
then they exist too. Was my
Father really an oak tree? No
he was a man, who started my
tribe many many thousands of years
ago, and for that I give him thanks
and worship. There was a great
tree at the middle of the tribal
lands, and the spirit of that tree
protected them. The man, and the
tree, became one in story. Literally?
    no.

But i know my ancestors, and i know
    my gods.

The one that I hold above all others,
My Great Mother, she is real too, I walk
on her body everyday, and her breath
blows the trees and grass. And from Her,
I and all of the animals and plants were born.

Are you going to tell me that She doesnt exist either?

I have no reason to show you my gods. They require no proof,
    especially to someone like you.

Unlike some, I have no reason to prove my gods
legitimate, but I will defend my belief in them.

While I grow in the faith of my gods, you spend
your life building a rather sad anti-thesis towards
the beliefs of others. Atheism is fine, but to let
it become such an issue in your life is unhealthy.

SO you dont believe in a god, then the idea of
a god, existing or not, should never be a part of your life.

But if you really want to see my gods, just look at me,
I am my gods, and my gods are me.

Ryu trying to debate evolution, based on what the guy at church says, is just lolable.

Go clue yourself in on evolution before making statements about it.

The book Biological Anthropology is pretty decent, it's the textbook I use for one of my units at uni.

Glad you think so. If someone like you considered me
more than that, then i must say I would be sadly
    disappointed in myself.

To impress someone like you would require that I
sell myself short of my true strengths, and
    I will never do that.

If i am a joke, then you are the punchline.

Glad that I give you some worth in the world, you're welcome.

What do you think you know of me? All we know of each other is
    what we have shown here.

I have shown that I am a passionate, open-minded man, with
a deep love for his faith, family, ancestors, gods and loved ones.

You have shown that you are a bitter, close-minded, cynical asshole
who puts people down for what they believe.

If there is no more to me than what I have shown, then i would say
that i am a good man, but I hope that there is more to you than that, because you would be sad if there wasnt.

the only belief that is pathetic and little, is the belief that someone else's beliefs are pathetic and little.

To bad Im not Christian Fuzzy, because then i could pretend to give
a shit about you. I pity you, but if you can't stop with your continued
dislike of people and their beliefs, then you will never be worth anything.

Having no belief is a god is ok, I dont preach that you should
believe in one, you preach that I shouldnt. But there is a difference
in not believing in something, and putting others down for it.

It sounds a little self-loathing, like the homophobes that kill
gay men, because they secretly want some dick to.

They hate themselves for what they are, and seek to bring
others down with them. You may not be that way, but it sure seems it.

I never said anything about "gods" love, thats a Christian thing.

I am not angry at all, just tired of your exhausted point.
