momentary lapse of reason was nothing special.

apparently division bell and the final cut were bad too but i havent heard them. other than that i think i've heard all the albums.

ok so they weren't so great without Waters, but come on, he was only one dude in a band of four, they all contributed stuff, so thats kinda harsh...and besides, couldn't you say that the 'true' Pink Floyd died when Syd left, cos he was at the time their main musical writing force and gave the band its image and vision...just my opinion though...

Animals by a longshot. Probably WYWH, The Wall, and Meddle next in that order.

Floyd are always great, even in their darkest hour(imo The Final Cut). When Waters left, they were still fantastic. Not as creative, just more straightforward rock and roll, but still fantastic.

I like Ummagumma, Meddle, Wish You Were Here. Fav song "be careful with that axe Eugene", but Echos is right up there.

Ahh... Ummagumma. Who could forget Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered in a Cave and Grooving With a Pict? I'm also big on Animals and Wish You Were Here.

I've heard the Wall so many times in my life that I'm currently avoiding it at all costs. It's a great piece of work that has been seriously overplayed throughout the past 25 years. Sure, Dark Side has been played just as much, but it wasn't my introduction to Floyd like the Wall was. I hope to get to a point where I can sit down and listen through it again. Maybe another year before I give it a go.

Yes, but Pink Floyd is still good after he leaves. Its like two seperate bands. PATGOD belongs to Syd. The rest is Roger's and David's band.

Almost certainly 'Dark Side of the Moon' closely followed by 'Wish You Were Here'. Some of the songs on 'The Wall' like Comfortably Numb are amongst my favourite ever Pink Floyd songs, but as a whole album I don't like it as much as some of the others. Kind of like 'Piper at the Gates of Dawn' just for a laugh sometimes too....
