has gotta be prince's erotic city...... how the fuck did that end up on the flip side?? I personally love pfunk's version of erotic city which they did for the PCU soundtrack...... damn.
The Beatles had a few good ones, as did The Smiths, and The Jam. but Oasis has had more great b-sides than all of them combined; i.e. (not listed from best to "worst"): D'yer Wanna Be a Spaceman? Cloudburst Up In The Sky (acoustic) Listen Up Fade Away It's Good To Be Free Half the World Away Talk Tonight Acquiesce Headshrinker Rockin' Chair Its Better People Round Are Way The Masterplan Step Out Underneath the Sky Stay Young Let's All Make Believe Thank You For The Good Times Eyeball Tickler :H
maybe you should listen to the songs before judging them. even the least bit of research will show that oasis' b-sides of the 90s were for the most part better than the album tracks.. and thats saying a lot.
Deffo Oasis....Stone Roses too Sally Cinamon All Across the Sands Here it Come Elephant Stone The Hardest Thing in the World Going Down Mersey Paradise Standing Here Where Angels Play Fools Gold What the World is Waiting For... Prolly many others, they always gave good value :sunglasse
truth. Great songwriter, even better singer..... did enjoy that last track he did with Noel Gallagher, they need to collaborate more, top stuff :sunglasse
well lizard queen... in the good old days of vinyl records, albums were divided into two sides, side A and side B, the A side was the single that was on release, but they band generally did a track on the B side of the record, which was a bonus because it didnt always make any main album of theirs it was used in a big way about a year or so ago, to try and encourage single sales against the treat of downloading. ironically in a lot of cases the B side was a darn sight better than the A side in the case of cd singles, the B side was used to denote any track which was not the main release single
i say landslide by the smashing pumpkins, its such a beautiful version of the fleetwood mac song, infact i'd say its more beautiful cant remember what it was the bside to tho, disarm rings a bell...but i've no idea
i actually didnt like it all that much. ive always found ian brown to be somewhat of a boring vocalist though.
