me and my cousin are trying to come up with ideas on where/how to trip this weekend. there's not much around, but i have a room uptown thats completely empty, big room, nothing but mirrors covering the walls, solid wood floor, a small stage, ect. it's a studio. anyways, i was thinking about putting his fog machines in there, some of my music-activated strobe lights, and a real nice stereo for music. just turn everything on, hang out on the stage, and watch it all happen. all the reflections on the mirrors of smoke and strobe lights and whatnot...all going to the beat of the music. do you guys think this would make for a good trip? our other option is going to the fun place and driving go-carts, putt-putt, and batting cages. so yeah.

    mark.

well batting cages, driving go karts, and putt putt sounds like a terrible idea. This isn't like getting drunk.. The other options sound better, but i prefer just to walk around in "in nature"

the whole putt putt thing, was, sorta a joke..but i mean, i've tripped before, and i don't get the whole "getting in touch with nature...flesh of the gods" crap. unless i worship mother nature and hug trees, i'm not going to pretend that mushrooms give me a religious experience. i'll save that for sunday morning. i do mushrooms simply just because of the awesome visuals/feelings. so yeah. the more i think about this crazy musical mirrored strobing room, the better it sounds.

well, i don't believe its a religious experience or "flesh of the gods", however, i do think it's more than just getting fucked up. I like being outside in nature when sober, and while tripping it is fun just to explore. everyone's different though.:) Have fun with your room.

yeah, it is more than getting fucked up. i don't even really look at it as getting fucked up in a fun, party sense. yes, i do it for the the feeling, and the visuals, but that includes being in a completely different state of mind. it makes me think about so many different things...which is awesome. if i want to get fucked up, i'll hit the bottle. if i want to have a great experience, i'll eat mushrooms. so yeah. i'll tell you how the room goes.

Sounds like a great idea man, are you trippin' alo1ne? I've never tripped alone cause I'm afraid that I'd get lost inside myself/head. I've always had a great friend with me on my journeys.
Both of you guys have really good points. Personally I like being outside to enjoy the calmness of the trees or feilds and to sit by a campfire tokin' some smoke

nah, i'm tripping with my cousin/best friend. last time i tripped i was around a bunch of people, and i got lost inside my head and couldn't talk the whole night. i wouldn't say "lost", actually, but it's like everything i had to say, i just thought about it instead. i couldn't get it out. weird..

That would be AMAZING:) Maybe you could also paint some trippy shit on the mirrors using different flourescent colors that react to the blacklight. It would look like an endless field of smoke and colors.
