FTP Users?

I just installed SmartFTP and for the life of me it won't connect to archive.org for downloads. Is anyone aware of better software than this particular version?

 

i have smart FTP and it is working just fine...

try it again..

i started with WSftp...or then there's cuteFTP...

otherwise try:

http://www.download.com/3120-20-0.html?qt=ftp&tg=dl-2001

or

http://www.tucows.com/ and type FTP in the search bar..

have you tried it with downloading from www.archive.org ?

 

Depending upon how old your computer is you may want to check and see if you have Winsite already installed on your computer.

If you don't have it - here's my vote for CuteFtp!

I recommend either leechFTP or LeapFTP. LeapFTP isn't free, but it gives you a 60 day trial, and you can easily find a serial number (www.serials.ws).

 

also if you can't find a serial for it, or a keygen, have a look at your regedit, you would be amazed how easy it is to crack some software that uses a registry key for thier registration.. 1 on 0 off p3@c3

 

I use WS_FTP and haven't had any problems. I used to use SmartFTP for etree stuff. It worked fine, but I haven't tried it w/ archive.org
God! I love archive! They've got more than I'll ever be able to d/l.

 

i've been using Bulletproof FTP server and client for quite some time now. it's amazing. never had any problems with it, and it's free ( compliments of IRC ).
heh, if you're having trouble with any of the others, give bulletproof a try.
