I wrote this last year..I was alot more bitter than..this is not meant to knock Pilates in any way..just to clarify..Let me know what you think “…And I think to myself, what a wonderful world…” The world is such a wonderful place! The littlest people in our society are learning things on their own now. Isn’t it grand that parents can now avoid the awkward talks about sex and drugs because their children teach themselves everything via the internet and TV? Because children are learning so fast these days, the job of parenting is so easy that even children are doing it. We have come so far! We have discovered how much more efficient it is to ostracize people because of their sexual preference instead of their religion. What progress! We have raised an entire generation of girls that discovered what a necessity things like clothes, thongs and sex are at the age of seven, which is really handy because now we don’t have to wait until they are sixteen to turn them into shallow drones waiting to open themselves up to the world. Isn’t it marvelous? We have also stumbled upon a very progressive formula for political discussion. If you don’t like someone’s face, or a friend of a friend of a friend says someone is bad and evil then you simply must believe them and discuss it accordingly. Why spend time researching your opinions when they are handed to you? That would just be a waste of time. Especially when we have so many more important things to do, like Pilates!
such blatant bitterness never counts for satirical wit (the only worthwhile form of bitterness) in my book anymore... but it you like that kind of thing i guess it could be called "spot on" maybe condense it a little... brevity is the soul of wit...
When I first read this I thought you meant Pontius Pilates! I guess I've been on the computer too long!
