I like the dropkick murphys lol the first time I went to their costume I ended up in the hospital cause I got a concusion in the pit. It was a crazy show.
Lol, that's cool. Well not cool that you got a concussion, but cool that you saw them. I saw them in Vegas once, and I sprained my ankle in the pit. It was the last night we were there, and I had to hobble around the airport with a sprained ankle the next day. What a PITA.
I've never been to a show, but I used to really be into the DKM. I had a friend a year or two ago that introduced me to their music and I fell in love. It was a short lived affair though. I'm not too sure why. . .
Their shows are very cool. I saw them twice. I'm not really a fan, but my younger brother is in that kind of music. I also saw Floggin Molly twice and the Real McKenzies. Very fun live bands.
yes, i love them. i've seen 2 shows. 1 on St. Patricks day and the time they came up to my school. both shows were great, but the one in boston was much better.
I haven't heard much of them, but I do know that I opened for a band that was on tour with them, apparently. Fun with punk rock.
i like them a lot but i never really got into flogging molly. supposedly they're very similar but i never really got the same feel from fm. anything that can make me mosh, skank or drink to twisted irish music is goood in my book.
Yup, I like them. I saw then in December supporting The Pogues at the MEN in Manchester... they were very good but not as good as Shane and the boys
The Murph's are great! Seen them a whole bunch but am now more partial to their former lead singers band "The Road Dogs." Their more punk and I like his voice and song writing better. Darcy, Darcy darling dear, You left me dying, crying there In whiskey, gin, and pints of beer I fell for you my darling dear
Yep, I was there too! I thought they were great, wished I was standing. It was quite scary when they played there version of "Courting in the kitchen" and my dad turned to me with his manic grin, "I know this song". He put it on in the car all the way home, it was... alarming
great band, im personaly more of a molly fan myself, saw them live last spring, i was second row and dave king walked to the end of the stage pointed at me and screamed, it kicked ass.
Wished I was standing too... I was sitting with my dad but we did have a good view. The Pogues were incredible... when all the tinsel came down for Fairytale of New York.... I hope they play again next Christmas!
