So, yes..I am new to this forum thing. But I've noticed that people here are either much older than I, ( which is cool, I respect my elders) or really young (teenagers) WHERE prey tell have all my fellow generation Xers gone? am I the only 20 something on here? If you were born in the 70's where are you? I came accross this site in the hopes of finding old rainbow friends from the 90's as well as ol' earth first brothers and sisters. Your out there, and I'm determined to find you. Especially Bee, Phoenix, and tear drop. I miss these guys soooo much!!!!!!
Hello. Been here a week or so myself and this does seem to be a very cool forum though not without its share of trolls, then again what forum doesn't have that element? Thus far, I haven't figured out where I fit in here- or WHETHER I fit in for that matter! Good luck locating your friends. Maybe you'll be lucky enough to make some additional ones here.
Ah yes...Generation X. I remember when WE were the objects of every advertiser's fantasies. Those were the days. Now we've been discarded. Now we can get back to what we're really here for: changing the world through slacking. Peace. msi.
Actually I'm 42 - which makes me the last of the 'boomers- destined to burden society with our sheer numbers.
ha ha I got you all beat, I'm 30 there are a few of us around here... Welcome! I'm almost 30, be 29 in Dec. god that sounds awefull
Just to clarify, here..... Generation X are people who came of age/were teenagers in the 1970s. The generation people refer to as Gen - X - you know, the bodypierced folks of the early 90s etc are actually known as the 13th Generation.... (13 generations from 1776). The kids these days (the Avril Lavignes) are the Millennials..... If you're looking for the Gen-X crowd you can ask the folks who were actually at CBGBs when the Misfits were just some guys from Lodi.
and I thought I was bitter.................., well it's your generation and the baby boomers who called us that. Frankly when I was a teenager I resented being called generation X. I'll clarify.....If you are between the ages of 25 - 35 then f!@#**!!'N HELLO and how do you do?!!!
"If you're looking for the Gen-X crowd you can ask the folks who were actually at CBGBs when the Misfits were just some guys from Lodi." sounds bitter to me, if I pegged you wrong then I do apologise, __________________
Work should never get in the way of slacking. Work was made for slacking. Without work we wouldn't be able to slack. If all of life was slacking, I wouldn't enjoy slacking. Behold the power of slack. Slack, slack, slack... OK. I'm done. I have to go to work now.
I'm at work right now..I'm such a hypocrit, I'm the office :H manager for residence life at a private college, I never even graduated college, and fool'n around on this thing means not much managing really going on....hhmmm
I've never had a job where I could slack as much as I did when I was working for a university. That's the life.
Hi! I'm 29 and have also noticed the age gap around here. There are a few of us though. For what it's worth......I thought we were called Gen X too. I never knew we were known as the "13th generation". I guess I was too busy slackin' to learn that! Welcome!
yeah, no shit; what's this guy talking about? Guess i was to busy slaking too or tripping; and why are elders even responding? not trying to be rude or dissrespectful but the whole point of starting this thread was to meet other people my age. See I was right, way to many teeny boppers and elders on this thing. Maybe I should start a generation X site for those of us who are under the impression that they are a generation xer
