Bloody hell! I read that 11 years ago or something. It was a really good read though, it gets you thinking. i should still have my copy here somewhere, I'll dig it out and read it again. Thanks for reminding me.
damn, the former head of the russian bio weapons program wrote a book - that was a scary read. He defected to america and told his whole story.. his name is Ken Alibek, but i cant remember the title. They weaponised marburg (or tried to anyway), and one of his colleagues caught it. ugh.
Biohazard: The Chilling True Story of the Largest Covert Biological Weapons Program in the World Told Ken W. Alibek, Stephen Handelman
Yes! Hot Zone is great a read it a few years ago though, kind of scary how real and deadly that disease is. I think that one move about monkey's giving the human race a terrible virus was meant to mirror this book...anyone remember the name?
The Hot Zone is a great book. I read it a couple of years ago after a friend reccomended it to me, and it caught me in its deadly thralls the moment I opened to the first page. :3
Disease and History by Frederick F. Cartwright, Michael Biddiss is good if you really want to get into the subject.
