There's nothing wrong with smoking all the time. Embrace your inner pothead.

its funny ..i ve been smoking ...for the past 6 months...and recently i started smoking every single day...but then i had to give it up for sometime for some reasons...
the point is...i've nevar goten the URGE to smoke up.. its not like i HAVE to do....but!
at the point where we are actually lighting the joints thats when my urges kick in.....and i start feeling all tense and think about all the feelings i m gonna feel....and when i take the first puff, its the bomb....and to think i havent smoked up for around 8-10 days now....and now when i smoke up in abt 2-3 weeks its gonna be like the first high .....cant wait for it :D

I'd rather go without sex instead of going without weed. But I prefer to have both, or at least some weed and a blowjob.

it is hard to quit smoking once you make a daily habit of it. I can usually go without it if i keep myself busy, but then i get in thoughs moods where i just need a bowl...in which then i remember that i need money...

theres nothing wrong with smoking all the time. however, there is something wrong with not being able to stop smoking when you WANT to. Its not easy at first, but eventually you can learn to overcome it. it usually requires you to run out of weed and money first, because most of us arent strong enough to resist it when its sitting there lol, but once youve learnt how to overcome the psychological desires of weed addiction, it becomes pretty easy to repeat doing so in the future.

youre right, its better to love one thing with your whole than worry about anything else in life. respect junkies, they are the only people who know pure love.

True, someone should be able to quit when they want to. I just don't understand why anyone would want to quit toking. Not that there is anything wrong with it, I just don't understand. Personally, I don't see myself EVER wanting to stop smoking. It's more than just a hobby or a past time for most people, for some of us it's a way of life, and it works. I can see how it wouldn't work for some people, though. The only reason I can think that it wouldn't be good to smoke all the time is the financial aspect of it, lord knows I'd have thousands upon thousands of dollars saved up had I not spent it all on weed. Stoned is the way of the walk.

it would depend how bad the addiction is cutting into life and money. i used to want to quit, but i had no real motivation as it wasnt harming any aspect of my life or my account. but then again i dont smoke every day cause i like to keep my tolerance low, so when i do, its just like my virgin puff, so i dont spend lots of $$.

Dude, an addiction is a BAD thing, it can seriously fuck up major parts of your life. And don't give me that whole "well it's not physically addictive so you can really just..." bullshit, ANYTHING can be addictive, from television to gambling to posting on the net to pushing small objects up your urethra.
And an Addiction to ANYTHING can have some serious consequences.
My advice is try to find a way to keep your mind off of it, fer instance, don't post on cannabis related forums until you are past that "i gotta get high or i'll go to pieces" part. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt.
12 steps are a total waste of time in my opinion, unless you agree with their idea of god.

Some people want to stop because it affects them adversely. Like, they start going to the drug for entertainment, happiness and such; it becomes a crutch in their life. That is not good. It's important to look hard and clearly at your own usage to make sure it's not detrimental. Don't just say "who cares, smoke all you want" because if it's not bettering your life, it's not good for you. If it's really affecting you in a way that makes you lose ambition, drive, interest in life and so forth, it would be good to stop, at least temporarily, to figure things out. Marijuana isn't god, you know? It's fun and I like it a lot, but it's not the point of life and yes, it can be bad for you.

It IS good for some people. Maybe not physically, but definitly mentally and emotionally. I was in a DEEP depression a long time ago and then I started smoking. As a result, my grades improved in school, I became more sociable, and I was happier with my life. My doctor even told me that the marijuana improved my mental health. He even said that it was better for my ADHD than ritalin was. I agree that it shouldn't be used as a crutch, but if it genuinely improves your quality of life, then there is no need to EVER stop smoking.

I agree. I'm not against smoking, do it pretty often myself; but one should be careful about WHY they're really smoking, and what it's doing to their lives.
