have any of you guys read him? i tried to read riders of the purple sage, but im not that interested in westerns. but anyway, what i was getting at is that my great grandfather had every zane grey book in hard cover. all mint condition. he didnt even read some of them because in the early seventies there house burned down and most of them went too, but then he made it his lifes ambition to regain all of them. he finally found the last book, riders of the purple sage believe it or not(his favorite by the way) only two months before he passed away. wierd huh? he gave them to me when he died because he knew i love to read. i was wondering how much you think they would or should go for? not that i would EVER sell them considering the sentimental value i hold for them and my grandfather held for them(thats all i got from him). but i was just wandering how much i was sitting on.
My Grandpa loved Zane Grey books,too... I have no idea how much those copies would be worth. Probably not near as much as the sentimental value.
Autographed?! Well then that would definitely up the price...did you try searching online, for places that sell rare or old books? There may even be people that appraise things online.
