I think that if they call for a draft that we, as in a nation of people, should get together & peacfully protest the war. it's becoming to be like vietnam. tell me what you think. if they call for a draft i say we protest!

I wouldn't go if I thought we were doing it to reinact the 'Nam protest... but if it was a movement for our generation alone, then yes, I would go.

well what if your kid was 18 and didnt support the war. He got drafted and ended up getting killed so Bush could have control of the world's oil supply. What would you do? If you say that you would still support Bush, or the draft for that matter, then you are one ignorant man who has no heart.

I would love to protest, but I plan on going to Canada next summer and not coming back, that way I will be in the country and have already applied for citizenship before I am the legal age to be drafted, therefore not really "dodging" the draft.I really think it is going to be reinstated, and I am scared shitless at the thought of it.

listen men & ladies i'm not going there to reinact the 60's i'd go just to protest the war. this is getting to be liek nam & we all know that was hell. if we could get alot of people to jsut meet somewhere & then all go to washington when the draft happens then hell yes it'd be a great thing. i mean we need to stop this war it's just not good for anyone.

What "dark reign" are you refering to? IT'S NOT ALL PRESIDENT BUSH'S FAULT. He can't just say "we are going to war" and do what he wants. Are you people seriously this uneducated? I hope Bush does make it, so he can finnish what we started there, and move to another country. It's about time we as people stand up against the evil in this world. Everytime I read a post like that above I think to myself "where in the hell are these kids getting these ideas?". I just don't understand your lack of understanding here.

I find it rather humourous that Bush only said we should have "The War on Terror" after WE were attacked when hundreds of terrorist attacks go on every year and we didn't do anything to prevent it. Bush is actually quite un-American really; he did create the Patriot Act afterall. That was most definately anything but what our founding forfathers would have wanted. Wasn't America supposed to be about freedom? I mean, not harm others, but the kind where you do your own thing and no one's views should really affect it.

well all i gotta say is if they bring a draft i'll come on here & get people to meet me somewhere close to D.C. just to make sure that they are acually gonna go through with this. if i can get at least 20 people then we'll go & sit out with our signs. then i imagine others will come. people who don't know about this site or whatever.

If they start up the draft again, I will certainly be protesting in my area. I'll get as many people as I can. I'd like to see Bush try and fight in Iraq. He'd probably run to Canada.
