nutritional yeast

    for a while after goin veg, i could not find anywhere that sold the stuff.. i took my vitamins anyway... but now that i know where to get it, i always put it in my pasta mixed with tofu sour cream.. best freakin combo ever! even better with a bit of powdered sesame seed and cumin!

    one thing i dont get yet is that the flaked red star nutritional veggie yeast has b12 and more vitamins than the powdered redstar nutritional yeast, or so it says on the label... is that just a bad label on it and actually the same like all logic should expect, or is it really different?

    I'm not sure. I've only had the flaked kind.

    nutritional yeast flakes are the perfect substitutes for cheese in just about any recipe!
