Well, what happens when you become an addicted guitar player? I happen to be one (any in the house?)... Anywho, my parents dropped me off at the shop here in town. I used to work as a part-time tech for a guy who works there. Anyway, they went to clean at my grandmother's new house about a mile down and I was to walk back there. I came in there to buy a Capo and ended up playing about 10 guitars. I had a watch with me and didn't look at it. I managed to start playing some $200ish dollar Alverez guitars that really sounded good... I mean.. omg... I played one for $199 that sounded better than a $3000 Taylor and a $249 Alvarez that sounded better than a $4000 Taylor 12 string... I mean.. holy shit. I also played Gibsons, Martins, Taylors, Guilds, checked out some Fender electrics. Anywho, the owner wasn't there and there was a guy there who I don't really like and he got sort of pissed I think and I called the owner and I know him so he talked to him... lmao.. I basically got kicked out because I stayed in 45 minutes after... I was going to buy a travel guitar or something cheap for going on vacations... but holy shit... that Alverez sounded better than Taylors and it felt like the Martin John Mayer signature... it was an OM body... that was like... amazing. I mean... holy shit. I pissed that guy off too because he was about to leave and was locking up but I straightened it out. Oh well... I shall remain guitarless for nearly a week.... I've never went that long without a guitar.
I know what I'll do... I shall talk my parents into taking me to Maple Street Music in Atlanta, Georgia on our way down I-95 Then I will commence in playing $30,000 pre-war Martins
Or... wait... doesn't I-85 run through Atlanta or do 85 and 95 intersect there like they do in Richmond... I dunno. I'll find a guitar shop somewhere I've always wanted to go to Maple street. I talk to a lot of people on guitar forums who go there... but... i'll find one... muahaha... then I will destroy!!! I shall fingerpick like I never have before. Chet Atkins, Merle Travis, Tommy Emmanuel, Leo Kottke, and Mark Hansen style!!! I don't think i've posted this here yet... I put up new songs a couple days ago. I shall plug my guitar recordings site. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/1/georgesnowmusic.htm ~ George

No.. I'm not back yet. I'm still on vacation. I'm using a computer at the hotel here in Savannah, Ga and at libraries when they're open. I'll be back in a few days (in VA).... lmao. I can't even go on vacation without getting on the computer....
ive been practiaclly living on my computer these last couple weeks, i cant seem to want to do anything else. ive learned some lennon songs these last 3 days, but most of the time i was sitting in the computer chair
sounds like me.... oh well, got to go.... the hotel people get pissed off if you use the connections for too long.... that's service...for three hundred a night in a bed and breakfast... ::rolls eyes::
my family has about 8 guitars, (me and my dad's) 2 i got for free. i get really lazy but really want to play it. around here, the people i go to school with get all competitive and im all, "ummm,....it's just music. everyone's different;has different tastes; and plays diferently, chill out man!" i may be working at a slower pace, but hey, ....im getting there!
