His parents make more money, it's the way it works...I would rather have a society with upper/lower classes than have the whole country have to pay for others financial mistakes...

Wrong Capitalism is all about class, the more wealth you have the more power you have.

OK, but the government does not use capitalism to take money from taxpayers to pay for thier vacation.

Not exatly but the goverment uses capitalism to further enrich the rich elite in the hope their capitalist masters would reward them for betraying the people.

Neither of you "deserve" any vacation. He's just lucky to have grown up with a family with more money. All you have to do is suck it up, get a job, and pay your own way. Then you can feel good about yourself knowing that you worked hard for what you own/accomplish. Other people's money, assets, or lack thereof aren't your business. Make your own life. Nothing is totally "fair," so make the best of it.

People that feel entitled to things just because someone else has them make me angry. I went to school with a kid who got a brand new BMW m3 after he wrecked his new Audi A4 a month after gettin his liscence. Did I deserve an M3 just because his parents bought him one? No. I was happy to receive an old Eagle Talon. However, I'm sure every kid in a poor area or third world country would kill to drive what I had. It's all relative.

Why do you deserve to eat three meals a day and throw away food you don't like when people starve to death every single day? Until you're willing to sacrifice all your own possessions and niceties, don't expect anyone to want to do the same for you.

i think that's true. imo the pendulum between (a) individual freedom to pursue one's dreams independently and (b) collective repsonsibility to ensure that society is a livable place for all its members, has swung way over too far to individual freedom. today making money and getting rich can only be achieved by working in a financial and economic system that keeps most of the world in poverty and slave labour. the 'third world' gives us the resources we want with very little or no benefit going back to the ordinary people. they also produce the goods and services our economies depend on to grow and our lifestyles depend on for prosperity and at next to no cost wages. there's really no escaping this fact. because resources and money are finite our prosperity comes at the expense of someone else's impoverishment. the logic that drives capitalism is racist b/c it is us mostly white folk in the western world who prosper and it is the black, brown and yellow people of the underdeveloped world who suffer. as individuals we may not be racist but the economic system that has produced our wealth and way of life is racist. this grand disparity of wealth has created the spiritual and moral crisis that afflicts the world today. we think nothing about the resources we waste, and i include myself in this don't worry, when the value of what we toss away could provide a poor family with what it needs to survive for a week. our leaders think nothing of marching in and invading another country if our need for dwindling oil supplies gets desperate, and with no concern to how many people are killed along the way.

there's no need for poverty and hunger in the world yet nothing is ever done to stop it. that's b/c the focus has gone too far over to individual freedom and not nearly enough effort and concern is given to facing up to any of our collective responsibilites. and when it swings over that far it's no longer individual freedom anymore it's self-obsession and greed. the people who are already rich still want more and their appetites are insatiable. i don't mean to say that the person who saves well for his retirement or who buys a new car is necessarily self-obsessed and greedy but the system that invests their money and manufactures their motor cars definitely is. so in a way we are all responsible for the mess and responsible for fixing it up.

That is why it is usually best to have a very small and limited government where the power does not exist for polititians to "further enrich the rich elite" for thier agenda's.

Communism is not totaly dead and well prob return with a difrent name and difrent twist . by then most people either forgoten or have no idea of the original one. even our own goverment sugest ideas ,laws and idialogy very similar to the communist like = The Drugs Wars is 1 of them. Many of the laws involve childrens and parents today sounds like it came from the Soviet Union . example whiping your kids rear for not behaving or having the kids turn in the parents for recreational drug use. all condone by our pro right goverment.
