Nine Inch Nails

I saw NIN friday night, it was the most amazing show ive ever been too, even if i had seats instead of floor tickets. Queens of the stone age SUCKED, the singer was an fucking frat boy saying the stupidest jokes ever.

anyways, any of you guys like NIN, or go to or plan on going to any of the shows?

 

i love nine inch nails. they were one of the first non-classic rock bands i got really into

 

I saw QOTSA open for RHCP, and I must say, too, that the queens suck. they bored me half to death.

 

i dont like nine inch nails. too much blood and paleness.. really not very hippy at all.....

 

Who gives a fuck how hippy they are? Personally though I don't care for them much myself either, and QOTSA is alright I guess, but it's a bit repetitive and gets old fast.

well to angry and fake then. Most of the time they arnt even serious about the chicken head eating i heard. plus they are middle class. hardly grave diggers. anyway why are they so depressed and angry someone explain?

trent IS brilliant. i saw them at the freaking Roseland ballroom. the place holds like 1000 ppl, and it was amazing. this was the 4th time i've seen them between 1994 and now, and they're amazing every time. this last time was the first time it was a GA show, though, so i got to be 10 feet from him, got my lil ass kicked at that show. (gettin too old for moshin!)

saw qotsa a couple times cuz they were at lollapalooza that one year (03, maybe?), and i think another festival, and yeah, they're kinda boring, BUT, at Lolla, we left qotsa's set early to go catch Burning Brides, on the 2nd stage, (who ROCK, btw), and after the queens's set was over, nick oliveri and MARK LANEGAN played a song with them, and we got to meet them, including LANEGAN, which was kick-ass.
(do you all know who mark lanegan is? of screaming trees and MAD SEASON????)
actually, mark's songs were the only qotsa songs that were decent.

they is a he my friend, he writes amazing lyrics, if johnny cash covers one of your songs, that means something.

the chicago show was crazy because jerome the drummer was having heart problems for the past few shows, so they had john freese come out for 2 shows, then they were gonna have meg white be the drummer for chicago but they i guess realized she sucked and picked up this knew guy, alex something.

he did a good job, fucked up reptile but it was barely noticable.
