it would be easy as hell to just make your own with things around the house. it's basically a waterless gravity bong.
yeh you can make it pretty easy, though of course it would always be nice to have one around. i wouldnt pay for it though. but it would be a wonderful present! i made a bucket bong only once. but boy.. did it fuck my shizzle
i have a gravity bong made from a cut up gallon milk jug and a 2L pop bottle with the bottom cut off....just stick the slide peice from my bong in the top of it, fill the milk jug with water, and it will ROCK you with just a hit or two. only problem is that unlike the bukket thing, it requires water to work. works on the same principle, though. however, you could make a poor mans version of the bucket easily by cutting the bottom out of a 2 liter and using duct tape and a cut out portion of a garbage bag or something on the bottom....push it all the way up to the mouth from the inside, put the peice in the mouth, and light it as you pull the loose plastic out and creat suction, then just hit the bottle. simple.
sweet, ive got glass, but its an idea that i will end up doing somtime... but last time i tried getting really cooked off of a gravity bong i kept fuckin it up....i lost all motor skills haha
that means its working! but yeah, the glass slide from my bong doesnt work too well. the gravity bong or bukket thing works better if you have a metal slide from an acrylic bong, then you can put a hole in the plastic cap for a pop bottle and put it through that, and if you REALLY want for good measure you can seal this even further with a glue gun or duct tape or something....but i'd prefer not to, because i'd rather have the metal stem extend far into the bottle so if i'm using it as a gravity bong, at least some of the time the stem is underwater and the smoke bubbles up through the water, cooling it like a regular bong, but still offering a huge hit like from any other gravity bong! but with the stem so far down in the bottle, the bowl is closer to the cap, and if you used tape or glue it would cause melting and other things you'd rather just not deal with.
designign your own bongs is definately living more than buying a fancy one from a store. especially lung models. a freind of mine had an idea lol, similar to the poor mans bukket that nesta described (one ive been planning to make for a while but despite its simplicity the plan is never realised when there is a bong by the windowsill) but instead of a plastic bag, to have like a sort of rubber or latex sort of thing that would be elastic. if it could stretch enough, you could fit a hit inside it, and then , get it in position on the mouth, and let go of the elastic, resulting in the absolute fastest hit possible! of course, he was never a physicist and im rather sure that it would be hard to find a suitably stretchy but tough sheet of rubber of the right size, but also that the recoil of the elastic could hurt the person's jaw quite a lot, and the force of the smoke could fuck up your lungs but a grand idea nonetheless!
i have a bucket, its got a little tear in it, that i have to tape over after every session, but its still crucial as anything.
I'm thinking of making a gravity bong for my bathtub... I live in a house with an apartment upstairs (which my parents gave to me) so I have a tub that nobody uses. I just wanna find a design that works great in the tub or sink or whathaveyou.
