the idea is untill your 18 your suposedly not emotionaly mature enough to handle it which is true in some cases, but definately not all.. its a matter of trying to protect the ones who could be emotionaly hurt by it also the overaccessibility of it thesee days has more & more kids having sex earlier, & getting into trouble since theyve known everythig about sex sinc they were 10...except the consequences like disease & pregnancy i've heard of people having sex before they knew what cum ewas, or what it was for, & had no idea how they got pregnant..& she had gotten preg her 1st time..at 13 if you are realy able to handle it its easy enough to get your hands on.. the laws arent meant to punish you, just protect the truly innocent
There is a natural order by which life unfolds itself for discovery. You didn't run before you could crawl, and you didn't talk before you could make an incoherant noise. Pornography is a creation of the adult mind aimed at adult requirements for the adult mind, not the child's mind. It is far better for you to experience the beauty of your own natural unfoldment than it is for you to experience some unknown adult's sexual depravity. Seeing into someone else's dirty mind can be the most harmful thing that could ever happen to you and one that you would most likely deeply regret later on, especially if they're weirdo's or sicko's. At your age it is natural to be inquisitive about sexuality and sexual interaction, but there are people out there who don't give a razoo about how your mind and life is stuffed up so long as they can make a buck. Drug dealers & criminals work the same way. Don't ever allow anyone to impose their thoughts and desires into your mind ~ it's like malware in a computer. Better off with a clean O/S, that way you know that the thoughts are your own and not some scumbag's dirty ideas bouncing around your head!
How about a porn site run by teens? So they aren't corrupted by the thoughts of dirty old men (like me). Porn is nothing new, it has existed since man learned to draw. Back when I was 13, I got excited by girl's underwear ads in Sears catalog's. When I was 15 I found my uncle's vast collection of porn mag's and my life felt complete. I fail to see what negative effect this had on my life. As far as kids starting out earlier because of porn, no. People become aware of the opposite sex's genitals usually before age 6 ("I'll show you mine if you show me yours", playing doctor). Soon after that they are told what goes where. Kids have been having sex long before the internet happened.
only problem with porn is that its aimed at showing views that get men horny, not teaching the most sencerely pleasurable positions for a couple.
