whoa man i made the weirdest shit...is this hash?

like um i think hash is complicated to make. i just left my pipe in alcohol for a night, took it out, noticed the alcohol was all resin-y and then soaked some leave in it. the leaves are still in there but i destemmed it and smoked a little bit of those in my pipe...whoa this is such a weird high

 

uh, sounds like you just have resin to me.

hash is not at all complicated to make using traditional methods, but hash involves the resin from the plant, not the resin from the pipe, which has already been heated to the point of combustion and contains quite a lot of nasty, somewhat toxic chemicals and should NEVER be eaten. it can still be smoked, but it's probably worse for you than smoking straight cannabis...but the thc is still more concentrated, and it gets you stoned as hell even if it sometimes gives you a headache.

from what i understand by your post, you soaked a pipe in alcohol, then soaked some pot in it too, so once you evaporate off the alcohol you should have what would be a mixture of pipe resin and hash oil, which isn't too bad an idea to improve the quality of the pipe resin. unfortunately, at the same time, you're tainting the hash oil (which will already be pretty low grade if you make it with alcohol instead of a more selective solvent like hexane or butane)

i didnt completely understand your procedure, but i KNOW you do not have hash. either its just pipe resin, pipe resin/hash oil mix, or resin laced cannabis (if you evaporated off the alcohol till you got just a tiny bit of resin laden liquid, then mixed in cannabis and let it dry on the plant matter)

hashish is a solid, pure, unburned cannabis resin.

hash oil is more pure than hash, easier to make, but less storable, and can be a liquid, a tarry substance, or if it's really low quality it can be a gummy paste

resin is solid, soft, sometimes meltable, and a nasty smelling dark brown or, more often, black material. if you get the resin from a nugs-only glass peice, it may be more like hash oil if you just get the gooey, oily brown liquid resin from the pipe stem and not the black, burned, charred resin from the bowlpeice

being high when i do something almost never interferes with my ability to recall it later, though i may have trouble remembering certain things while i am really, really high.

if you find a significant loss of memory from smoking, it may be problematic. only you will know, though. i can't tell you....

if there was alchohol on the leaf when you smoked it, you could also be a little drunk, alchohol can be inhaled

yeah youd think so, but they released a product which vapourised alchohol in england. im not sure if its still legal. but people used it and got drunk really quick.

it would be bad.. but ethanol would be the least of worries compared to isopropyl id have thought.. ethanol isnt exactly as much of a solvent..

i would try it, the alchohol vapouriser ie, at least once. intuition says that teh alchohol would destroy the lining of your lungs.. but at the same time, perhaps the alchohol is diverted into teh blood stream so quickly that it cant really do much to your lungs if not binged on?

No. The amount of time it takes to vaporize the alcohol is too long to get drunk on it alone. On top of that, if youre at a bar, which i doubt anyone has one of these in your house. Its not like youre going to be the only one hitting it.
