I think what you are asking is "how to remember my dreams?," right? Right living, Right eating, Right exercise, Right sleeping, Right remembering.
I think it has to do with practice. I had to do this for a psych project once. You keep a dream diary, and you keep it RIGHT next to your bed, so that it's accessible for when you feel like going back to sleep. The instant you wake up, write down notes about your dream. If it's night, go back to sleep. When you wake up in the morning, the notes you took should help you to remember you dream, which you can then write in greater detail if you so desire. After about a week, you'll start waking up after most dreams and being able to write them down AND remember them in the morning. Most of the people in my class did, anyway. Good luck!
I don't induce dreaming, I am just more conscious that they happen. I keep pen and paper next to me and write in the dark. As you wake up (actually see your consciousness coming back to consciousness), I don't open my eyes right away. I slowly realise what position my body is in and I move slowly, searching for "hot spots" on the mattress. As I move my body back to these hot spots a dream segment gets remembered. I work back in my dream and take note of feelings and dream symbols. After I've explored the whole bed I do a complete body stretch and write down all the dream symbols. Then I make sense of them by filling in as many details as possible. I write down my feelings and see what the dream means. I meditate before going to sleep and as I sleep and as I wake up. I usually find that when I wake up it is in mid thought, that my mind is finishing the thought I had as I fell asleep. Looking at the thought I can see what I was dreaming about. Since I am into meditation, when I first realise that I am becoming conscious, it irks me to see my monkey mind having three thoughts at the same time, they are all meshed together and they are layered one on top of each other, so that there is no break in the thought stream. Each night, as you start to go to sleep, say to yourslef that you will remember your dreams. See your dreams, see yourself seeing yourself dreaming. When I look at the middle of my eyeballs, without moving my eyes, I can sometimes see sparks of light, which turn into orbs or planets, each with a picture on it and a gravity field. I fly between the planet / pictures and try not to be pull down into the dream. If I see one I like I allow myself to be pulled down and I invariably dream of what I saw. A few nights ago I dreamdt that I was making love to Susan Hayward. So now I know that I will soon meet someone who reminds me of her, her beauty, her charm, her voice, her mannerisms. I already know that nothing will come of it, but just knowing that it will happen is enough... Drink a lot of water during the day. It will cleanse the brain of mental cobwebs. Then you should be able to remember your dreams more readily. Stay away from alcohol which tends to make one unconscious. If you smoke, quit - you'll have millions of dreams.
i dont remeber dreaming....i think if you smoke lots of herb you stop remebering...at least thats how it has been latley...*dreams come back!*
you dont induce dreaming. You have dreams every night. You just dont remember them.To remeber them you have to say to your self as you drift off to sleep "I will awake from my dreams and completely remeber them" when you awake form sleep wirte any dreams you had down.
