Let me start with some background. My parents are a cop and a dispatcher. Both republican conservatives. They've always been overprotective. A few months ago, I did some bingeing on DXM. It was fun for a while, but my friend OD'd on DXM and a mix of other stuff at my house. My parents flipped out. I quit all drugs and swore the only thing I would ever do was bud. But this little side trip into DXM made them even more overprotective. They always talk about how it insults them when they see that I have smoked pot and enjoyed it. They'd prefer I wasn't vocal about it. I understand their concern, but I really would prefer them to get off my back about pot. I've become some what of an activist about it, and they get angered by it. Do you guys think there's any way to make them not mind my toking? Peace, Love, and Kind Nug Joe
ehhh... i dont think theres much you can do seeing they are both like.. cops ya know. its even really hard for me to get my parents to let me and my dad was huge stoner in his days. they just dont want me to get into a lot of trouble if i do get caught by the law, but seeing that ur parents deal with the law... i dont think they will let it slide. because if u did get caught, im sure they dont want it to look bad on their part ya know... i dont even know if what i just said made ne sense, but if it did then alright haha.
Well dont think your voicing your opinions is gonna help man... if you do what I do, then they might lay off... and that is... IGNORE them and their bitchy attitude towards you. If that cant respect YOUR choices, then dont respect THEIR negative feedback from it! lmao
next time the cop parent pisses you off just be like "oink oink mothaf***a!" and tell the piggy parent that pigs suck. If you made your cop parent take a drug test, he'd fail for all the drugs that he confiscates from those who he arrests. your chances of getting them to smoke with you are rare. Your piggy parent can lose his job if someone ratted on him. Also, it would be cool if you told your piggy parent about how wrong it is to arrest a peaceful cannabis user who supports himself, works hard, and is a valuable member of the community.
lol thats so true considering my dad was a cop for 25 years and i smoke mad weed nad i use to take mad trips nad i drink made alcohol and i got a mad breathalizer at school today but it read .000 so they had to let me. These niggaz got nothing on me they dont evev go. My breathilizer read point zero-zero-zero so sit down schoonmaker stop trying to be a hero-hero-hero. yea ne way it makes me feel filthy even though i passed and didnt get in trouble jsut that they suspected it.
The thing is, my parents have done so much for me, but this just pisses them off for some reason. I love them both, but they bring their jobs home and tell me all this shit about their political ideals and tell me mine are wrong and just teenage idealism. I'm just kind of torn, because they've been very good to me, but I just want to smoke my nugget!
I would call them pigs every day. if they beat you up call the children police on them . "and they know this allready" you see laws have a double edge sword. they would never do anything to get fired from the groovy job as cops.
You kids that are telling him to call his parents pigs are fucking ridiculous. ragethebong - you're 16, assuming your profile is correct. Try and look at it from their perspective. They probably wouldn't be happy if you were smoking cigarettes, so they're definitely not going to be happy when you're smoking something illegal. I'm sure they're not unreasonable and understand that pot isn't a horrible demon, but it is still a crime. You also just had a friend OD on cough syrup at your house. I don't blame them for being pissed. I realize that it sucks, but just try and respect them for a couple more years. If you're going to smoke make sure it's very discreet. 18 will come soon enough.
