I made this yesterday, to wear over all my tank tops in the winter. It's still a work in progress, but I am out of the game due to an crochetted out thumb. I think it turned out pretty wicked thus far! (I still need to attach the turtleneck and work on the sleeves)

thanks ladies! I love the greens and browns in it. It's kinda a weird clothing item, but it totally functions as planned.... arms, neck and clavical area are kept toasty!

What a good idea! Thats so practical. I live in tank tops and vest tops, also. I love it!

My closet is full of tank tops. Other than tank tops, i had several long sleeve t-shirts that don't fit over my tits, as well as several uncomfortably tight sweaters. I had even more shirts that aren't long enough to cover my belly pudge, because the fabric that would make it long enough is used to go over and around my breasts. As jean styles got lower, all my "too short shirts" became really noticable. :(

About a year ago, I cut a couple of these t-shirts off, into shrug/half shirt thingies. I wear the top half over my tank tops and wear the bottom half under my tank tops, making a 2 part shirt that was long enough to keep my belly and lower back warm. :D

This sweater basically came from the same idea... just wanted a turtleneck bulking sweater, but cutting sweaters leads to unravelling... so made my own!

It was really easy to make, too... which was a bonus!

Sorry, no pattern... just kinda made it up as I went along. Patterns tend to confuse me with all the numbers and abbr.s.
