Well, all the sewing I have done lately has been for Halloween and for my Brownie troop, so I have been digging into my old beads for fun. I haven't made these for years! I had forgotten how much I enjoy making jewelry. It's hard to get a good picture of something so small with my crummy camera. What do you think?
I think theyre beautiful, even if the pictures arent all that clear. I especially like the green and yellow necklace. Good job, and keep it up!
oooh, I love them! The little snowflake ones are so adorable, you should sell them at a holiday boutique! great work :0)
Thanks, all! I haven't sold any jewelry since I was in high school. I just give them away. I really should sell some, I could use the money. Tata--they really aren't that difficult. You use a very thin needle and some strong thread, it's kind of like weaving. Somebody posted a link to a tutorial a while back, but I can't remember who it was.
It's pretty easy to sell things a festivals and stuff maybe on Ebay...trading would also be a good idea. I like them, have you thought about making things out of hemp? Im sure those beads are way to small to fit on any size of hemp, but if you can find some larger beads, and put them into macrome, I'm sure you could make wonderful things with those things as well!
