i just got my clones in under a 600w hps(600w mh on the way) that is 16 inches from tops of clones. the tips on some of the leaves have curled and become very dry. there is also some yellow spots forming on the leaves. is this mite damage? arethe lights too close? PLEASE HELP!
fist of all If your starting clones U dont really need to put them under the HPS. Clones can go about 2 weeks under some Floros. Any way, if U have a 600 w HPS 16 inches from the tops of the clones than duh, There gonna burn and dry up. U should have them atr least 24 to 32 inches away from the tops of the plants. They way u have it now, The plants are gettin burnd by the lights heat. And as the yellowing leaves goes, Thats not a mite problem, if the some parts of the plants are yellow then I would guess thats its a nitrogen deffecency. so if U just raise the lights up and give the plants some food with lots of nitrogen then U should be ok.
