    what other options do you have ? personally I try to do as little business through banks as I can

    well i have a student bank account at natwest... but i heard about this bank and i was interested, not that i need to switch banks or anything, just that hearing about ethical issues being protected by a BANK fueled my interest, just came here for opinions.

    The whole co-op group is one of the best consumer organisations we have. It was started in the 1800's by the working classes to bring fair trade to themselves. They really do run business in a co-operative ethos.
