i think how jackson "got like this" is nobodies fucking business. where in the hell did mankind go wrong, that we concern our lives with the lives of people we've never met, and therefore, have no business with?

 

I don't believe we are overly "concerned" about this predatory animal.

But I have always been concerned to a certain degree about what types like this are up to, so i could warn my children about them.

Its also people like this who put themselves out there, if they wanted no one in their business, then they are going about their business in the wrong way.

Yeah but for some reason our society (through no thanks of the media) has taught us that celeberties must be role models. Were told to hold these people in higher regaurd then ourselves. Thats why people can call someone like Micheal Jackson a freak of nature and then try and sympathise with someone who'se been abused that badly as a child. People gasping at one of the Olsen twins sniffin blow and then go get ripped out the ass on meth. Its a bullshit standard that we focus on other peoples lives in an attempt to fill the void that is our own lives. Turn off the TV, even if its the news, and talk to someone you work with, live with, or have just seen from time to time. Concern yourself with whats passing you by, and not the wasteland that is other peoples lives. Tend to yourself first.

Teepi: What the fuck does his appearence have to do with his crimes? Yeah he's a child molester but that wasn't the issue of the post. Read a little before jumping on someones ass over a comment. Any chance your kids are gonna run across him? Then how does it effect you?

As far as my kids go....they're grown now...don't need their old momma for much anymore, but I managed to keep them safe....and i did manage to teach them to respect others opinions.

just because michel jackson is a celebrity, doesn't give people the right to dig in his private business. not just with this case, but with everything he does. and every celebrtiy. their social status, or their career choice doesn't give us permission to mettle in their affairs.

think of how you would feel, if you just got accused of child molestation. and suddenly everyone on the fucking planet was calling you a child molestor, even though it wasn't true. people hear a story like that, and run with it. regardless of if it's false or not. any little kid could easily call you a child molestor, and you'd be facing some pretty major shit there. especially if that kids parents were putting him up to it. people are very influenced by their parents, wouldn't you agree?

it's very easy to get completely blamed for something you never did. i know from experience, but i won't bore you with the details. there have been people, living on death row for years, and finally proven innocent only AFTER they've been executed. even when all the evidence SEEMED to point to them, they turned out to be innocent.

let me explain to you why i compare humans to a disease. a disease enters the body, and starts multiplying. then, it starts spreading over the entire body, and multiplying more and more and more as it goes. until eventually, the host of the disease is killed. and now, look at humans. 100 years ago, the population was half the size it is now. we keep multiplying every day,and the population is only getting bigger. more and more people are starving everyday, and people are dying from diseases and other problems that COULD be prevented, if only people would put the money into it. where do we put it instead? we put it into the fucking media, so that everyone with the luxury of having a TV can see what time micheal jackson took a shit today. we put it into drive-by fast food restraunts, so fat lazy people don't have to get out of their cars and walk into the store, buy food, and cook for themselves.

please, show me where i have put people down for their opinions. unless those opinions regarded something rather immoral, i believe i have done nothing but express my own opinions, as well. and usually, those opinions are the exact opposite of most other people on here.

so, you've done the same thing you accused me of doing. you stated i am no longer "cool" because i also express my opinions. and that hurt, because i thought you were cool too.

never once did i say that we all must agree on everything and "nod our heads in unison" so don't take what i say out of context, and put those words in my mouth. thank you, mrs. kettle.

P.S If you don't like the way people talk about celebrities or others in the news, if you think its a waste of time then maybe go to another forum...I liked you alot better in the Art forum...and I liked DarkL alot better when he was doing his good deeds.

okay thats not at all what i meant by my post, i am in fact in total agreement with inbloom and his COMPLETELY RELEVANT comments. I think you're blowing this way out of perportion....There's no need to play the "get out of this thread" card here, Why doesn't anyone seem to pay attention to the fact that NOT ALL POSTS POSTED HAVE TO BE POSITIVE ONES. Opinions can be negative also. You people act like we need to start a new thread everytime we have a slightly different opinion or topic from the original post. Im sorry, i said "you people". As for this riff raff arguement about whether he did it or not, WHO CARES?! Were your children involved??? No. This is the business of all the people envolved, not us. If Some guy in California was accused of molesting children, would we be glued to entertainment tonight, arguing with our friends whether he did it or not. It's irrelevant to our lives, so why stress your life about it. Michael Jackson made great music, that's all we need to worry about (sorry, i said great, that wasn't very neutral of me, someone may get offended).

Also, i've gotta pick on the fact that somehow these people are suddenly "uncool" now, because they stated their opinion on something. Is this how you live your life??
