can't afford the ticket tonight, but he was on 99.5 The Mountain last night playing acoustic /live and chatting with the dj. Absolutely amazing guy. People forget musicians keep playing, and McGuinn didn't die after the Byrds. He also has been spreading the stories of loder folk song through THe Folk Den. Mcguinn.com check out the sweet 2 G string Martin he plays.
Yeah, that's one of the most interesting guitars I've ever seen/heard. I got to play one and it has the sound of a 12 string and the ease of a six. Roger McGuinn is really underrated, in my opinion. I've seen him on Woodsongs Radio Hour. Quite the legend and historian when it comes to folk & roots music.
His songs on the Easy Rider soundtrack were amazing, but sadly thats all i have heard from him. Anyone wanna suggest some songs/cds to get?
large sigs are suspension offenses. If you have a photo program, even a crappy one, you can crop and resize then reimport. Lots of our folks are in libraries and on dial up. big pix are mean. did the link help? I think his Folk Den is off that. one could get lost for days in there.
