When you are under 18 and have to have parents permission to be pierced, is that permission to get THAT piercing, or just permission for the piercer to pierce you at all. I wanna get my nipples pierced, and my mom said I could get my belly button pierced, so I'm thinking maybe she can sign and all, then I could go back later and get my nips done.

    WOuld that work?????

No. It's for the specicfic piercing you're there to get. In order for you to get your nipples pierced, that'd be a whole different signing of papers.

Its permission for that piercing. Basically, if you're under 18, you're still classed as a child or at least, not an adult, so even though you're 17, you'll still be treated with the same formailities as someone who's like 14 because there are only 2 categories:under 18, or adult/over 18. So it doesn't matter if you're 17, or 12 years old, you'll still need a signiture for each different piercing. As for the nipples, I think they're classed the same as genital piercings so you need to be 18 anyway. If it isn't too long for your birthday maybe you could just wait!

Dude..just wait till april. if you can't wait that long to get a piercing, then you probably arent going to want it too long either. i know its way more convenient to get it now, but it's also alot more dangerous.

it's one year, what's the big deal? that way at least you'll know whether you really want the piercing or not, it'll give you time to think about it. nipple's reject fairly often too, just to warn ya

a lot of piercers won't pierce the nipples (or genitals) of someone under 18, even if their parents would sign the papers. i'm not sure if it has to do with touching a minors genitals, or if it's a growth/developmental thing (like how doctors don't like to do boob jobs on girls under 18). but either way, i don't think a decent piercer would do it until you're 18.

In Canada you don't need permission if your 16+, unless it is a private piercing you do need permission. Wait until your 18.

Chances are, they won't want anything to do with that, so they're not liable for sexual imposition or the likes, since you're a minor.

Just fucking wait. I second the fact that you won't want them when you turn 18.
