I'm considering trying shrooms and I've read alot on the subject. I was just wondering though,
my dad was talking about how lsd and other psychadelics change your brain chemistry and stuff. When he was in college, my dad said he went to see Timothy Leary give a talk on "the glory of drugs" and he said that during the whole speech the guy was talking to a candle and acting all freaky.
So I was just wondering if they'res any risk of my mind changing after the trip. Let's say for example, I have a bad trip involving bananas (Yeah I know, but u get my drift...), will I have an unnatural phobia of bananas afterwards?

i doubt it, unless you took a ridiculous amount your first time and had a bad trip...
after the trips over your back to your normal self
theres a big chemical explaination to answer your question but im too lazy to type it out right now...
check www.erowid.org for info like that

The reason Timothy Leary was talking to a candle the whole time is because he was probably tripping balls on some acid. Shrooms change the way your brain functions WHILE you are tripping, but not permanantly. It might permanantly change the way you view certain aspects of life, but in a good way.

yea man, it isn't going to change your brain function perminantly in the sense you'd be tirpping forever, after tripping you come back to normal so i wouldn't worry about it...but yea as topnotchstoner said before it might change the way you view things and how u view aspects of life, which depending on the person can be good or bad, but for the most part it will be good...happy tripping
