So does my sister. I will never understand. She was born in 1980, so she uses the excuse that she grew up around it. Well, I don't remember the late eighties...and I grew up in the 90's. I listen to Nirvana and The Vines,but that's about it...everything else is 60s and 70s.

 

I was born in 1983...I had an older brother that listened to that kind of music. I guess it just reminds me of my childhood when I hear some of that stuff...

Of course, it's not ALL I listen to...nor do I feel attracted to men with big hair or mullets...

But laugh if you must!

you know, i've always blamed the 80's music scene for the sexual confusion of my youth.... the men looked like pretty women, and Annie Lennox was butch.

I still secretly rock out to my "power ballad" cd...

 

for you hippies still only listening to pink floyd and the beatles remember that there musicians out there with interests and musical tastes just like you who are putting out some good music worth listening too.
