they could be parasites or worms.. i have seen that on TV, where a guy got a worm in his eye... but it could also just be dusts.... if you feel funny then you should go see a doctor
They're called 'floaters' and they aren't too much to worry about unless you have a lot of them or the number of them increases dramatically. If you are concerned, go see an Opthamologist, an eye doctor (not an Optometrist, who fits you for glasses and prescribes contact lenses). Check out this link which I got from putting "eye floaters" in Google's advanced search engine: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/002085.htm
yup, their floaters, they are weird huh, they are the remains of a membrane that was over your eye as a foetus i think, though i could be wrong, sounds a bit odd, we all got em so dont worry.
Yes, it is a type of worm called a Loa Loa. A parasitic animal that humans who go to Africa sometimes accidently pick up. I doubt this is the case with you.
i get these really really bad, it's nasty, i used to think it was cuz of make up, but i even get them when i don't wear eye make up. They're really nasty, but my dr said there is nothing you can do about it. Mine are really gross, sometimes when i pull them out, theyre stringy and they tickle my eyes. It grosses everyone out. haha.
There are these little tiny parasites that live on your eyelashes. They eat all the stuff that's not supposed to be there... Like, for instance, if you put on mascara and don't touch it or do anything that would wear it away, it would still disappear after a while, because they eat it. Yum.... If you drop an eyelash in a teeny tiny bit of water, like a drop, and look at it with a microscope or a magnifying glass, you can usually see them. Yummy. But they're good.
lucy, I was reading that posted site, and it said that it's in your eye, not on top. That might be something else you've got. I've heard about this parasite like haha was talking about, called Demodex folliculorum. They eat the oil your hair folicles secrete. Fucking nasty. Makes my skin crawl it does.
