I don't really know which one...I guess they're about the same thing. Anyway, I was about to get into my sister's car in front of my Aunt's house. My sister had parked in front of a drainage thingy and my foot landed the wrong way, I felt my ankle rotate all the way around, fell, and busted open my pinky toe. I was completely startled by the amount of pain I was in...I couldn't even talk when my sister asked if I was ok. Then I just started crying like the big pussy I am. My sister got me some ice and my mom wrapped it when we got home. After my sister got back from dinner, later in the evening, I asked her is my ankle was wrapped right (I suspected it wasn't) and she called my mom a retard for wrapping it wrong (made me laugh ). Anyway, so, I can't really walk on it...Its Gimpy Jessica for a little while. I concerned about work tomorrow, I stand for 8 hours a day at work...maybe I could convince them to get me a chair for when I'm not busy...
alternate ice and heat stay off it, and change your dressing daily... Take some motrin or advil to calm the swelling and call me in the morning if you have any questions.
HOLY FUCK! I was just getting into bed, and I put the hurt foot up firts and I accidentally put all my body weight on it, it hurt and then a landed on it...Its back to hurting as bad as when I first hurt it! I can't even find a semi comfortable position when I'm lying down to set it in....holy crap I didn't know my foot could hurt this bad...
No, I have a laptop and it is in bed with me. I'm usually laying in bed or sitting in bed when I'm online. I love my laptop.
Melody, Very important: during the first 12 hours or so, keep it cool and elevated; do not damage it during these first many hours and use an ice-pack to keep it cool. If this turns out to have a bone fracture involved the ice and elevation will also be very helpful in lessening damage and speeding the healing. After work (would be better to take one day off) tomorrow do the same, ice and elevation. Also talk with a doctor about the possibility of bone fracture. In either case you will be fine. Peace, David .
Thanks for the advice natural. I would take the day off, if my mom wouldn't kick my tooshy for doing that.
