Look you all, beating the shit out of someone for stealing pot is a bad idea. Beating up someones parents and breaking their windows is wrong. Here's the thing though, there may be some information that we do not know. I don't think that some guy's going to just beat the crap out of someone walking out of a pizzarria for no apparent, justified reason. However, going after the guy himself is not bad.

THink of it like this: the guy's parents really are upset with their son because he uses and/or sells drugs. How do you think they feel when they're getting physically abused for their son's drug-related behaviors.

That's not the kid's stuff, that's the parents, who worked hard and honestly to pay for them. My sister's high school enemies used to egg/paintball our house, roll our lawn, even broke off my mom's rearview mirror once. What the fuck does that accomplish? Even if you're one of the bitches doing it, why do you think this hurts my sister? This is just absolute stupidity.

Even your example, beating the shit out of the kid till he's nearly dead. Does nothing. Your "aquaintences" didn't get their money back, and just cause great pain and suffering (well above any caused to them) over what? A bit of money? It accomplishes nothing except *temporarily* making the assailants feel better. The guilt comes later, even if they continue to rationalize it away with the "belief" they were justified.
