The Songs of Leonard Cohen

I think it's still his best album.
But he's certainly done some great stuff over the years - any other fans out there??

 

I'm not a fan, but I like some songs of him.

 

I love the album. This reminds me, though, that I really need to pick up Songs From a Room.

 

Leonard Cohen is one of those artists who has never released a bad album. I've always liked his old stuff but even his newer albums where its just him, a drum machine and a backup singer is really incredible.

I only listened to "Bird On The Wire". From what i've read his music is depressing.

 

I love leonard cohen's first 3 albums...famous blue raincoat, so long marianne, suzanne, bird on a wire, sisters of mercy, hey that's no way to say goodbye, master song...so many great songs. I heard he lives 20 minutes from me

 

cohen is amazing. my favorite song of his is probably 'dress rehersal rag.' i had heard about him and just bought songs of love and hate on a whim, and i'm very glad i did. the only problem is trying to play original music after hearing someone who could write that well.

 

i dont like him i find his sound to be very irritating.

leonard is amazing...

 

I'm not a huge fan, but this was the best album I've listened to of his (of the 2 I've listened to). "Stranger" and "Goodbye Marianne" are good tracks.
