but i've fallen in love with Toronto! I've always been so anti-TO for obvious reasons (overly commercial, huge buildings, polution, yuppie infested...blah blah blah) i never knew i could fall for a place like it, but i had the awesomest tour of Toronto yesterday and today, and i'm in love!!!!! I just got on a bus and had a dive into it. I met so many cool people who i probably wont ever think about again in my life, but were so worth meeting, just to make my experience that much more pleasurable. I could spend my life in Kensington (or at least take a loooot of trips there) it's AMAZING! So many cool people....ahh i love it. can't wait to go back.

lol... glad you liked it... I go there like once every couple of months and I hate it more and more each time... although the friends I stay with live in rexdale which is the absolute worst part of toronto... the only sight seeing we did was drive by one spot where 3 dudes got murdered a couple days earlier, I was like "I miss ottawa"

yeah, dont go to rexdale.. it sucks.. actually strangly enough after I read this thread I decided to give one of my friends from there a call (shes up all night because she usually works overnight shifts) and she was telling me the night before she went out to walk her dog (english bulldog) and while she was walking it some guy appeared from behind the trees he was like in his 40's or something and just started talking to her saying like "hi pretty girl" all weird.. she got really freaked out.. she was like "hi?" and he was like coming towards her kind of and her dog started barking at him and hes like "does your dog bite" and her dog never bites she was probably just excited that someone was there but she of course was like "yeah actually sometimes" and he just like turned away and started walking away... so she got back home really quick she was all freaked out and shit after that... this was at 2:30 am by the way, I felt really bad :/ she was really shook up by that shit

i rode the street car and the subway, I WAS SO EXCITED!!! i had to ask every second person where i was going, but it was okay. I loved it. me and my buddy kevin are going to go back in a couple weeks hopefully, to bum around for a few days. I didn't go to rexdale, i don't think haha....but i heard it wasn't so great. I went to some of the art galleries in The Distillery...ohh myyy beauuuuutiful. I want to live in one of those colourful houses across from Dancing Days at Kensington! It's like a mini san francisco...at least, like pictures i've seen anyways :& i just have to make more friends there now, so i have places to stay :)

I might be livin there soon enough... not sure I got some friends there that want me to move in there with them so we'll see what happens. ive never been to kensington so maybe its nice? im sure its still dirty enough. anyway maybe I just need a good tour guide, most of my trips to toronto is spent in my friends place smoking weed and playing video games

GOOOOOOOD evening ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to lame twats with nothing nice to say, our contestents tonight are both equally abrasive and ignorant, stay tuned, tonights festivities promise to be iritating

Anyways, ya, Toronto has it's moments, that's wicked that you discovered Kensington, such a great spot, which is also a nice introduction to all the little ethnic communities. You should also check out stuff like cabbagetown, little italy, High Park, the ROM, and the condo strewn waterfront with it's quick ferry to centre island.
