hearing all those hands clap for you, not a single drug can produce a feeling like that.

and then when you're told afterwards that you sound like liam gallagher... :D

Wow Where You Playing In A Band? The First Time I Performed Live I Opened Up For A Band By Myself On Acoustic Guitar. I Did Fine, But I Was On Percocets And Was Drinking Earlier At The Bar (they Know Me There) To Help Me Calm Down Because I Had Never Even Played Through A Pa Before That, It Was Kind Of Like 2 Hours Before Going They Were Like "do You Want To Play A Few Songs Tonight?" So I Just Slapped Some Shit Together While I Was On The Stage.

man, it happened again, i cant get enough of it. :D i played in the school tennis courts tonite, during the 4th quarter of the homecoming football game, it was so awesome. :D

nope, by myself, i wouldn't want it any other way, and i may not have to join a band in order to start gigging. i thought thats what was gonna happen, since i dont have a car or anything to go anywhere, but this lady friend of mine said she'd drive me around as long as she got 10% of the profits.. i said she could have 50% :p and be my "manager".. in title, only.. i dont need no manager. :sunglasse
we'd like to have booked something by the end of next week (not a gig in this upcoming week, just to have one scheduled by friday). woooo

i haven't yet sang that word i dont think... but i have caught myself singing "nee-ow" and "skee-ai", i'm trying to stop that. i really dont want to sound exactly like him.

I'm interested. What did your set consist of? ALWAYS a difficult, one, in my experience, as it is difficult to play something that everyone is gonna like. I find my current set has - arrghhhhhhh! - 2 Oasis songs due to, ahem, public request. But my sets vary, depending whereI play and also the time of year.

As a matter of fact, i am due to play tonight, and I have had to resort to that old trick of taping a couple of lyrics to the top of the goddam guitar because I am getting too old to remember all the lyrics!

well the first times, i played in school. i auditioned to play at the "pep" assembly (i forgot that pep needed to be involved...), and i played wonderwall, i didnt get to play because they said the song was too slow.. i went back to my study hall and everyone was like "play for us play for us" so the teacher took the entire class back to the room where i had left my guitar, and i played wonderwall for them, and that was the first time ive ever heard claps like that. then i played it again later that day, in world literature... more claps :D and they said i sounded like a british bob dylan in there. :sunglasse

I really didnt want to play Wonderwall because everyone learns that song first when they start out on guitar, but my version is a lot better than Oasis'.. and i wanted to play a song that everyone knows.

last nite though I got to play more songs for more people, woo.

busking today at the oktoberfest festival, hopefully. :H

I played at a party last night with a band... did so many pink floyd covers. Was paid in weed, free beer, food, and a shitload of fun it was.

i have yet to play live with my band but im still young and we formed recently. i cant wait to though. i think after 2 and a half years of being involved with guitar and other instruments, itd be worth it to hear a crowd cheer for me and my friends.
