Any one wana help me pick out a tattoo?

It is my birthday today and I got to pick out my present. I got it down to a hard shell guitar case or a tattoo. I am moving to costa rica and guitar cases might be cheaper down there so I was thinking about a tattoo. A small compase on my ankle about the size of a 50 cent pice or somthin like a cartoonish sharp looking waves all the way around my ankle. Anything that you think I might be interested in?

 

In my opinion, if you need to go for advice/suggestions on a web forum on what kind of tattoo we think you should get, you're clearly not ready for one.

 

go to a tattoo artist and ask this question... they are extremely helpful with this kind of thing.

 

I agree with lucy, but the compass sounds better than a tweetybird on your ass cheek.

 

Ah guys, lets be kind. . .In the event that you go for the tattoo, please make sure that it is really something you want. I like tattoos with a story instead of just a pretty design simply because, one day, it might not be so beautiful ( you might be 90 years old one day). Anyway, if there's meaning behind it, though the colors may fade, the beauty of it's meaning won't go anywhere. Anyway, just give it MUCH thought. Good luck with your decision AND you're move. Mostly I am just looking for ideas. My mom drove by a tattoo place in town and said the name for no real reason. It was the day before my birthday so as a joke I said would you let me get a tattoo for my 15th birthday. She said what and were and I said a tweety on my ass. No just jokin. I said a compase on my ankle, mostly becase she wanted one there for a while, and she said yes. Anyway it got me thinkin and I think I might like one. If I did get one it would most likely be a while. 4 years before I am shure at least.

tattoo is not a joke. if you need suggestions fuck yourself. it;s on toyr bordy for thr rest of the life. your not old enough to figure out what makes you ,you. Youa rw not reayd for a tattoo. even if you think you are. seirouslyi. im drunk but im honest. dude, man a tattoo is a symbol of your self expression and even if you think somethine will exxpress you now it wont in 3 tyeas ,. just wait. even igf its a pretty fucking butterfly its billshit. tattoos I think have to represt your self and you don't know who you are yet,. when i was 15 i thought i did too. but even 2 years changesd you. sorry i should posted when im psober but the meaning is still there, your mum is lame if she lets you tattoo at 15.

 

just to tell u there's a saying out there if u get something all the way around a limb thats where it's going 2 b cut off. My dad told me, so now I'm really paranoid. Just wanted 2 share.

 

You have to find one that pops out and one that has meaning to you. Your going to have it for the rest of your life so make a good choice and make it your choice. Don't lission to anyone els.

 

What's your favorite thing? Do you draw? Design something for yourself. If the compass has meaning to you, go for it. I don't think you should go by how you'll feel 4, 10, or even 50 years from now. If everyone went by that, no one would have a tattoo. People change every day. So, do it for yourself, if you're not ready, don't do it, if you are, go for it.
