1. If you're using a check write something fun in the "memo" or "for" blank. Write something like "sons of bitches" in the blank. (I've done this one with ebay, a few times) 2. If you like leaving the bill on the table in restraunts, hide it really well... Like in the napkin dispenser. 3. When making night deposits, decorate the envelope. Put stickers on it, draw bunnies and rainbows, or just put some goofy shit on it. Then call in later that day and make sure they got your payment, they'll probably remember yours. 4. Write the check for like 5 cents over, then call in and demand that they refund it to you. 5. In retail stores, you can really piss of a clerk by paying for a small purchase with a check (because usually they have to write your driver's license number on it if it's not local), or with a credit card (Annoying for them if they have a manual credit card machine). When you've paid, insist that they wrap it up. 6. I wonder if anyone makes checks with naked chicks on them? 7. Call in alot to see if they've gotten your payment. Even if you haven't sent it in... 8. Make out the check in a foreign language, what can they do about it? 9. Pay for something expensive in rolls of change (I've paid for weed in change and I always jokingly ask dealers if they take credit or debit cards.) 10. Send in your payment with a mysterious yellow stain on it (no, I did not save the best for last).
People pay with checks all the time where I work.. I don't really care, cause I don't have to do shit really.. I'm supposed to call this thing and see if it goes through, but the authorization code is always the same so I'm like the bank can fuck with it. All I have to do is stamp it or whatever.
