Buying Lighters

Does anyone else have trouble buying lighters sometimes? Earlier today I picked myself up 1/8 and I walked over to the gas station next to my house and the guy wouldn't sell me a lighter. That ever happen to you guys?

There is your problem then. I don't think I've ever had a problem getting a lighter. Just go find some matches and have at it.

I've smoked a bowl with matches before. It was really harsh inhaling match fumes, but it got the job done. I too have had problems getting lighters, because I look really young for my age and I forgot my I.D. one time.

 

yah man...those bastards!!!!! like, i didnt know u had to be fucking 18 to buy lighters nowadays, when i was 17, i would go and buy a lighter and hes like 'no, u need ID' and im like 'man ..uh, how if i jsut wanted to light a birthday cake?' i was kidding but he was a rude bastard about it. so i just used to get my friend 2 buy em for me.

but there are some places, u can go to, where they dont even card you. so you jsut gotta find those places. i hate that law. i mean its FIRE. so fire,one of the elements of EARTH is illegal is yer under 18? what the.....???

 

p.s matches are annoying. and if im stoned, i wudnt have the patience and/or abillity to light one of those suckers up.

i heard that on like this show of 'weird facts' that lighters were invented before matches..thats nuts

THERE IS HOPE! im sure there are liquour stores around that wont card you.
or at least ud have a few friends who are 18 or older to buy some stuff for you.

 

using matches can be hard until you get the hang of it.

remember to let it burn a bit before smokin the weed so that all teh chemicals int eh mathc burn away before getting into your weed and lungs

 

I can think of a dozen ways lighters can be used for other purposes than smoking.

Lighting incense, a wood-burning stove or older gas stove, candles, campfire.

I had no idea that it was illegal to sell a fricking lighter to someone under 18 until last week. A guy and his teen-age son were getting into their car in the parking lot of a mini-mart and I heard the dad say "whoops I forgot I need a lighter--go back inside and get one".
The clerk wouldn't sell the teenager one, but would give him matches.
WTF???

It sorta reminds me of something that happened many years ago. There was a Taco Bell that kids hung out at. People--lots of 'em--would buy a coke to wash down thier drugs.
The cops made Taco Bell stop selling cokes unless someone bought food to go with it. So people would buy a coke and the cheapest food item they had (tostada), toss the tostada in the trash and proceed as before.
Inotherwords, it didn't stop people from washing down drugs with a Taco Bell coke--it did however make Taco Bell more $$.

Lots of different pills--bennie's (benzadrine--a relatively mild amphetamine). reds (downers), acid, stuff like that.

(cue tinkly old-time piano) those were the days my friend.

 

epoxy only has one negative use (well okay, I could glue someones ass to a chair, but one unsanctioned use rather) you have to be 18 to buy it

guns only have 2-3 bad uses, you have to be 18-21 to buy one of those

I can think of all sorts of good uses for a gun, that doesn't make guns logical to be sold to people younger

as for epoxy, when I needed it when I was younger than 18 it pissed me off that I had to hand my money to my mother and have her buy it, but now it seems more reasonable to me



just order a damn zippo off the internet, or get a wand lighter and mod the thing

 

Ew, zippos are gross to take hits of off. All you taste is Zippo fluid.

Just find a store that will sell you a lighter, try one run by foreigners, they usually dont care/dont know.

Match hits taste good, if you ask me. Takes a little coordination to use, but its nice to change things up once in a while.

if a gas station doesnt sell u a lighter, just tell em u will be back in an hour with a torch so ya better leave the pump off the hook

 

I always have access to lighters at my house. My mom uses them for her occasional cigarette, and my dad is a big time cigar smoker. At any given time we could have 5-10 lighters lying around.

thats the best idea i heard all day!!!!!

i personaly love lighters..i have like at least 5-6 of em in my purse just so i can find one easier, in times of need.
