Did I ever tell you that I didnt go to that Keller show in Tampa? Well I didnt... My mom wouldnt let me.
saw Keller in Charleston, absolutely glorious! heard the show in Columbia was nice too ya'll have fun!!
I am 44 yrs old, and my son introduced me to Keller. He is 19, and spent last summer following jamfests all along the east coast in a 1978 van; he put 16,000 miles on it. Well, he said Keller was great, so I looked him up, and loved it. So when i saw Keller was playing NYC last week, I told my son. His reply was..."yeah I know" I said "i wanna see him", and my son said "come with us". So I did. Me my 19 yr old, my 16 yr old, their friends..... I was amazed. He is the best kept secret in music today. Plus as a bonus, I experienced the greatest memory a parent can have. My son truly wanted to share the whole deal with me. How many parents can say that? Believe me when I say it wasn't a mercy invite. For a kid to not be embarassed to have his mom w/ him.....wow!!!! I feel sorry for you that your mom wouldn't let you go see him. It sucks when people grow up; they forget what iry was like to be a kid.
I just got back from his Houston show at the Meridian. This was the first time I'd seen him live. What a badass.
