it always came naturally to me. i think when i was little i might have heard that indians ate the bone marrow because it was very nutricious, so i tried it and fell in love with it. when eating chicken, i find the best part is always the soft parts at the ends of the bones. then i will use my molars to crack open the bone midshaft. this usually takes some force, but it busts right open. the black strip of marrow comes right off and is scrumptious. then i might chew on the bones some more and work at the weaker parts. even if i dont eat the bones, i enjoy just chewing them anyone else like bones/cartilage/marrow?
not i but my old bosses kids ate them all the time,,,, kinda grossed me out to hear lil rugrats chewing n crunchin the bones n cartilage n crap
just so long as you're not eating those nasty-assed factory-farmed chickens i make bone broths in the winter. add in a splash of apple cider vinegar and the cartilege, marrow, etc dissolves right into the broth. yummm!
My wife does too. We've been married for 7 years and she and her family can't get enough of any marrow bones. So imagine the looks on my wife's face when I decided to eat, almost, an entire chicken wing!!! It was good, I just chewed thoroughly
Instead of using you teeth you should try a nutcracker or lobster claw cracker, easier on you and still gets the end result.
