Usually I'm motivated when I see something cool but thing of a way to improve on it. Or take a nap, that works for me.
I dunno. Sometimes I just have to start doing something. Usually it's an excuse for doing something else.... like home or housework... hahaha... At other times, well... I don't like doing anything.
I would do all thought sometimes when I actually do sit to do my work....it seems I need to do something else. Or I have to pick-up someone or take someone somewhere. Like now I wanna sit down and craft but I also need to register for school. Also we own an online shop thats under construction, but I need to make more jewelry to add to the shop but I havent had time to sit down. There for my motivation gets shot down by responsibilities. How do you manage time to do all that and then craft?
I had an art professor and mentor of mine once tell me that when I was done with school and was no longer forced to complete assignments for class, I would have to make my art a priority otherwise it would always get pushed aside and then I would end up never doing any at all. I find this to be very true. Try to set aside at least an hour a day to do your crafting, even if you feel like youre not inspired...just having that time for your craft is very important.
