thats not true what so ever. undercover cops dont have to say shit about being a cop...even when asked. thats sorta part of being undercover
actually yes, by law police officers, undercover or not, have to tell the truth. The part thats undercover is usually their cars, outfits, names, w/e they need to get the job done, but when asked flat out "are you a police officer", they must answer "Yes".
Irish, I believe you're right. It's actually kind of stupid, but since it benefits us who know that, I don't mind.
